Jonny Niesche’s neon-hued chromatic fields and prismatic structures riff on mid-century minimalism with formal inventiveness. The artist employs voile, dye sublimation, mirrored frames, and digital color palettes (which he makes himself) to generate what he calls “image-objects”—pieces that straddle the line between painting and sculpture.
