Meggs’ artwork seamlessly blends the influences of his childhood with his experiences from travel and cultural immersion. His fine-art style has evolved from simplistic street art into a sophisticated, layered, and expressive mixed media approach that seeks a harmonious balance between form and abstraction. Since entering the gallery scene around 2004, Meggs has showcased his work both nationally and internationally in cities like London, San Francisco, Paris, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, while also hosting solo exhibitions in Melbourne, Sydney, Los Angeles, and more. His pieces are part of prestigious permanent collections, including the National Gallery of Australia and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. His commitment to traveling for mural projects and exhibitions has enabled him to collaborate with diverse artists and brands such as Nike, Stussy, Addict, New Balance, and Burton, continually expanding his artistic repertoire and creative vision. Recently, Meggs was featured in significant exhibitions, including the National Gallery of Australia’s "Space Invaders - Australian Street Art" retrospective and the "Everfresh Studio" exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria's NGVStudio. He also participated in "Young & Free - Contemporary Australian Street Art" at 941 Geary Street in San Francisco in 2011. These contributions firmly establish him as one of Australia’s most innovative and dedicated street and contemporary artists.
